Project Description:
CTRL + ALT + DELETE
is a speculative animated series developed entirely with generative AI — from narrative prompts to visual seeding and BD strategy. Designed as a streaming pitch prototype, it explores how AI can power story, design, and promotion from the ground up.

In 2096, two elite gamers enter a tournament aboard a levitating blimp over Las Vegas — but when one is found dead mid-event, the other must uncover the conspiracy behind
the games.

Built using ChatGPT, MidJourney, and Runway ML, the project delivers a fully visualized pitch universe — complete with character direction, tone, and campaign mockups.

World Building through Prompting

This original TV concept began with inspiration from 80s–90s anime and arcade nostalgia — then evolved through spoken voice-to-text prompts developed in ChatGPT. Once refined, those prompts were transformed into a consistent visual style using MidJourney’s seed system. I created a unified world — from holographic blimp interiors and registration badges to character shots and teaser art — all seeded from a custom illustration style.

To complete the audiovisual tone, I layered in original synthwave scoring using Suno and added character-driven voiceover. The result: a playable concept for a stylized, animated series — and a proof-of-concept for how generative AI can be used in speculative storyboarding, pitch design, and immersive campaign world building.

AI Character Design Process

I began by gathering visual inspiration from 80s/90s arcade games and early 2000s animated series like Toonami, Motorcity, and Adult Swim. These references helped define the nostalgic yet futuristic tone I wanted the characters and environments to embody.

Inspiration & Visual Research

Step 2

Audible Prompting via ChatGPT

To generate authentic and emotionally accurate prompts, I used a method I call audible prompting—speaking my ideas aloud into ChatGPT. This allowed me to translate abstract concepts into clean, cinematic text prompts aligned with the desired aesthetic.

Once the core prompts were refined, I transitioned into MidJourney to generate the characters and world-building assets. Each visual was created with intentional lighting, cinematic styling, and pop-art influences to match the arcade-inspired direction.

Step 4

After locking in the base character design, I used that seed image to generate additional poses, characters, and environments that matched the style. This method ensured all visuals shared a consistent visual DNA across the project.

Where Vision Meets the Room: The Art of the Pitch

To generate stakeholder buzz and promote buy-in, CTRL + ALT + DELETE was imagined not just as a story, but as a pitch-ready universe. These visuals simulate key moments from high-profile media expos and investor presentations — designed to position the series as a fully realized IP with the power to attract audiences, inspire confidence, and spark conversation in the rooms where decisions are made.
