Accenture:
The Currency
of Sustainability
Role(s):
Associate Creative Director;
Concept Designer
Project Description:
The Currency of Sustainability was a global sustainability thought leadership campaign developed by Accenture to demonstrate how embedding sustainability at the core of business strategy can drive long-term value — not just for the planet, but for profits.
As Associate Creative Director, I helped visualize this bold concept through a currency-inspired brand system. Using intricate guilloché patterns and fingerprint-like intaglio textures, I translated Accenture’s insight — that smart sustainability pays back — into a visual language that felt tangible, elegant, and global. The work was applied across reports, blogs, animations, and social media as part of a multi-touch campaign rollout.
Designing
a Visual System
Inspired by Foreign Currency
This campaign was featured prominently in Accenture’s sustainability blog series, including key articles such as Measuring Up: Achieving Resilience Through ESG, Three Steps to Embed Sustainability in Strategy, and Minting a Sustainable Future.
As part of the rollout, I contributed to digital content design that supported these insights and worked alongside our motion and strategy teams to bring the broader campaign to life. I designed assets that were incorporated into social graphics, executive presentations, and animated sequences used across channels — helping to ensure consistency and visual clarity across a global, multi-touchpoint campaign.
Bringing the Brand
to Life
After the creation of the assets were made,
I worked alongside motion designers to ensure my design files translated seamlessly into motion — including subtle animations that mimicked the shimmer of currency under light.
Scalable Brand System Deployment
Step 3
Animated Motion Integration
Step 4
The final system was rolled out across multiple mediums — from hero images and editorial content to internal reports and executive decks — ensuring the design maintained its integrity and impact across formats.
Using Photoshop and Illustrator, I created custom guilloché and intaglio-inspired textures that were layered into static designs. These intricate elements gave the work an elevated, tactile quality.
I began by analyzing currency from around the world — drawing inspiration from visual patterns, textures, and embossed security features used in global banknote design.

A Global ESG Campaign Powered by Purpose and Precision
This campaign supported Accenture’s global thought leadership on sustainability, translating complex insights into clear, compelling design. I collaborated with motion, strategy, and editorial teams to craft content that elevated key narratives — including Measuring Up: Achieving Resilience Through ESG and Three Strategic Steps to Embed Sustainability.
My role focused on designing scalable visual assets across digital touchpoints: from animated social content to executive-level presentations. These visuals helped unify the brand voice across global channels, ensuring both creative alignment and message consistency for one of Accenture’s most high-profile ESG initiatives.
